Timothy Dillingham, M.D., M.S., Named 2010 Distinguished Researcher by AANEM

VA HSR&D investigator Timothy R. Dillingham, M.D., M.S., of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been named 2010 Distinguished Researcher by the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). The award honors one AANEM member who has made continuous significant contributions to clinical neurophysiology research each year.

Dr. Dillingham, Chairman and Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin, specializes in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic research. He is currently working on several studies funded by VA HSR&D, including the recently completed study, "Electrodiagnostic Services: Guidelines, Compliance, and Outcome," which produced approximately one dozen journal publications.

The AANEM is the largest organization worldwide dedicated to advancing neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and electrodiagnostic medicine, and has more than 5,000 physician members. Dr. Dillingham has been a member of several AANEM committees, and is currently the AANEM President-elect.
