5th Annual NIH Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation:Research at the Crossroads
The conference will be held on March 19-20, 2012 at the Bethesda North Marriott, Maryland, conveniently located on Washington, D.C.’s Metrorail Red Line (White Flint stop).

National Evidence-Based Practice Conference
This program addresses evidence-based practices as they relate to redesigning health care, nursing leadership for change, new models of care, and the future of nursing. A variety of perspectives will be presented by a clinically-focused evidence-based practice expert, health policy expert, and member of the Committee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Initiative of the Future of Nursing at the Institute of Medicine. Implications for practice, education and research will be discussed from a lens in which nurses from all roles can relate, including staff nurses, specialty and organizational leaders, faculty and program directors, and those responsible for developing, implementing, teaching, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care of the future. Opportunities for networking and sharing ideas will be available.

American Pain Society 31st Annual Scientific Meeting
31st Annual Scientific Meeting
May 16-19, 2012 • Honolulu, HI
The 31st Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Pain Society will offer current information about the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute pain, chronic cancer and noncancer pain, and recurrent pain. In-depth workshops are planned and are designed to enhance research or clinical skills pertinent to the management of pain; they will feature content appropriate for professionals at several experience levels.
