Dr. Kenneth Boockvar is Professor of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Associate Director for Research at the James J Peters VA Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center, and Director of Clinical Studies at Jewish Home Lifecare, all in New York City. He studies health care delivery for older adults, focusing on patient transitions between sites of care, medication reconciliation, and changes in health in long-term care patients. He is a primary care geriatrician and grant awardee from VA’s Health Services Research and Development service, the National Institute on Aging, and private foundations.
