Arden M. Morris, MD, MPH is a Professor of Surgery, Vice Chair of Clinical Research, and Director of the S-SPIRE Center. Dr. Morris’ research interests include socio-demographic disparities in cancer outcomes, patient-physician relationships and patient-centered outcomes, and health-related policy and quality of care. She is completing an American Cancer Society-funded mixed methods study of patient and provider influences on the quality of colorectal cancer care. She was recently a Visiting Scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation studying the quality of care in safety net hospitals and is a member of the NQF Consensus Standards and Approval Committee.
