Dr. Seth Eisen is an internist and epidemiologist with particular interests in issues related to research design, health services genomics, PTSD, research applications of ‘big data’, and fostering quality mentoring. As director of HSR&D (2007 to 2012), and chair of HSR&D and PCORI peer review committees (2014), he has been involved with hundreds of research applications and their implementation, providing him with considerable insight into the ingredients for successful research.
