Dr. Eugene Z. Oddone is the Director of the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care at the Durham VAMC and Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Oddone has had a career long interest in health services research focusing on access and disparities in health care as well as testing novel interventions designed to improve process and outcomes of care for patients with chronic medical illness both within the VA and in underserved non-Veteran populations. He has published over 180 peer reviewed articles. He has clinical expertise in delivery of primary care and hypertension. Research methodologic expertise includes clinical trials and systematic reviews.
