Dr. Allan V. Prochazka is a Professor of Medicine in the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Professor of Epidemiology in the Colorado School of Public Health. He was a Milbank Memorial Fund Clinical Epidemiology Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and at St. Thomas’ Hospital Department of Community Medicine. He is the Assistant Chief of Research in Ambulatory Care at the Denver VA Medical Center and is the Co-Director of the Mentoring Program of the Denver-Seattle COIN for Veteran Centered and Value Driven Care. Additionally, he is a co-Director of the Clinical Faculty Scholars Program and Education Director for the Clinical Science Program both in the Colorado Clinical Translational Science Institute and the Director for the Mentored Scholarly Activity program within the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His research focuses on smoking cessation and preventive medicine.
