Dr. Sandeep Vijan is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and a Research Scientist and Physician at the Ann Arbor VA Health System. Dr. Vijan’s research interests primarily center around identifying and implementing value-based interventions as a basis for health-system reform. His primary goal is to develop models to examine the costs, risks, and comparative effectiveness of applying approaches to personalized medicine for a variety of chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease prevention, diabetes management, colorectal cancer screening, and mental health disorders.
