Research Interests: Big Data, Chronic Conditions, Neurology, Patient-Centered Care, Program Evaluation

Dr. Frances Weaver is the Director of the Center for Innovation for Complex Chronic Healthcare (CINCCH), Hines Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital, and Research Director for the Quality Enhancement Research Initiative for Spinal Cord Injury. She also is an HSR&D Senior Career Scientist Awardee. Dr. Weaver also is Professor in the Public Health Sciences, Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University. She has been a health services researcher for over 30 years. Her research interests include neurologic conditions, prevention/management of secondary conditions, program evaluation and patient-centered care. She has over 130 period-reviewed publications. Dr. Weaver serves on the editorial board of Evaluation and the Health Professions and FORUM, and is reviewer for several other journals. She serves as a mentor to post-doctoral fellows and career development awardees.
