by Sarah Martindale, PhD ; Jared Rowland, PhD
Seminar date: 9/15/2020

Description: Deployment mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) is characteristically different than mild TBI acquired outside of a deployment environment. This webinar will review structural imaging findings from combat Veterans with mild TBI acquired during deployment. These findings will be evaluated in the context of new information about how circumstances (such as blast exposure or co-occurring PTSD) surrounding acquisition of mild TBI during deployment may help better understand imaging, cognitive, and behavioral outcomes. Intended Audience: Researchers and clinicians with interest in health outcomes of patients with traumatic brain injury and history of blast exposure.
