by Stephanie Taylor, PhD, MPH ; Steven Zeliadt, PhD
Seminar date: 9/15/2022

Description: Abstract: This study is the first large-scale (n=~ 5,600) examination of the effects of CIH therapy use on pain and comorbid outcomes among Veterans. This pragmatic trial examines the question of the effectiveness of practitioner-delivered CIH therapies in combination with or instead of CIH self-care. This presentation provides an update on our 6-year study.

Target Audience: Researchers who are interested in learning about pragmatic trials in the VA and clinicians who are interested in learning more about the use and effectiveness of CIH therapies for their patients’ pain and pain comorbid conditions.
