Description: This session will provide an overview of technology-assisted interventions to promote pain self-management, focusing on the benefits and challenges of delivering treatment via technology-assisted methods. The ongoing CO-operative Pain Education and Self-management (COPES) trial will be used to illustrate the unique challenges of designing a technology-assisted intervention and preliminary results of the trial will be presented. Implications and future directions of technology-assisted interventions will be discussed. Target audience: VA Research Community and Clinicians
