Using Lessons from VA to Improve Primary Care for Women with Mental Health and Trauma Histories, Part II

Description: Given the prevalence of traumatic experiences and mental health illness among women Veterans, this session will provide an overview of women Veterans in the VA, as well as describe lessons learned from VA Health Services Research and VA Clinical Care and how it can inform health care services across VA nationwide and also within non-VA sectors. The presentation will also include discussion of the implications of these findings for women Veterans who are treated in primary care settings. Intended audience: Researchers and clinicians interested in healthcare for women Veterans or in PTSD in all Veterans.
