To provide ideas for health services researchers at all levels regarding strategies for managing one's time and career.
Four senior health services researchers will describe their career paths and current positions, including specific strategies they have employed to manage their time efficiently, and balance and prioritize a variety of work demands, including administrative vs. research responsibilities. They will discuss strategies they have used for advancing their career's development, as well as ideas for balancing home/work demands. After the presentations, we will open the floor for discussion and elicit further ideas from the workshop participants.
Health services researchers at all levels.
It is assumed that all audience members will have encountered the issues to be discussed in this session.
