The electronic template was built into our CPRS (our electronic medical record system) for our telehealth department. A provider intending to initiate HBCR via CVT orders the consult and it goes to the telehealth department to notify them that the patient needs to be set up with the video-to home system. The electronic consult allows the telehealth department and provider to be aware of where the patient is in getting set up for the video to home process, receiving the tablet, completing the test call, and being ready to initiate these services.
