Abstract:

This brief educational tool informs Veterans about their access to their VA health records using My HealtheVet and introduces Veterans to the Veteran Health Information Exchange program. It specifically provides step by step instruction about how to access their VA Health Summary and tells Veterans that this information can be shared with community providers to improve their care. The target audience for this education is Veterans currently using the release of information office.
