Description: This presentation will: a. Provide an overview of audit and feedback, a quality improvement intervention, from the theoretical perspective; b. Present research findings on the characteristics of feedback that make it most effective; c. Demonstrate two case examples of studies that have used evidence-based design of audit and feedback to design the feedback interventions. Intended audience: This presentation is mainly designed for researchers, however, anyone seeking to design a new audit and feedback intervention or improve the implementation of an existing one can benefit from this presentation.
