HSR&D Meetings and Conferences
The HSR&D National Meeting is generally held in Washington, DC and is organized and hosted by a different HSR&D Center of Excellence each year. HSR&D researchers from many disciplines come together with clinicians and policy makers to explore new ways to improve health care. Meetings also provide the opportunity to exchange ideas, and establish linkages around scientific activities, VA policy development, and clinical service delivery. The scientific meetings feature invited speakers, abstract and poster presentations, workshops, and exhibits.
The meetings also involve special topic workshops, such as proposal development for new investigators, special interest group discussions, awards, and job announcements.
