Veteran Employment and Economic Security Research Consortium (SERVES)

Mission

Supporting Employment and Resources for Veterans’ Economic Security (SERVES) is focused on creating an agenda to improve economic security of Veterans by increasing scientifically based research and quality improvement projects.

SERVES will focus on:

  1. Access to interventions for Veterans at risk for unemployment, job loss, houselessness, or economic insecurity
  2. Optimization of existing employment- and economic-related programs
  3. Innovation of interventions designed to meet the economic security needs of Veteran subgroups (e.g. racial/ethnic minorities, Veterans formerly incarcerated, Veterans experiencing houselessness, and Veterans living in rural areas)
