We invite you to join the VA Long COVID Practice-Based Research Network (VA LC-PBRN). The goal of the VA LC-PRBN is to build the infrastructure for an impactful, sustainable Long COVID research network within the VA which will convene and connect partners to centralize Long COVID clinical, research, and operational activities.

Eligibility

Any VA outpatient program providing Long COVID care or VA-associated professional group with an operational (or close to operational) Long COVID clinic may apply. This includes VA specialty Long COVID programs as well as VA non-specialty programs (e.g. primary care) that regularly treat Veterans with Long COVID.

We are requesting that all interested colleagues complete this application so that current information about your practice or Long COVID clinical activities are on file.

PBRN Application

Benefits of Long COVID PBRN Membership: 

• Conduct Long COVID program research to improve Veteran outcomes.
• Collaborate with Long COVID PBRN network investigators who share research interests.
• Implement research findings into clinical practice to improve the health of your Veterans.
• Professional development opportunities
• Collaboration and connection to other national VA programs providing Long COVID care.

Long COVID PBRN Commitments include:

1. Requiring at least one active representative to participate in webinar calls.
2. Timely updates to the PBRN on local program activities and/or changes.
3. Scheduled invitations to voluntarily participate in discussions concerning potential Long COVID research topics, undertake research training activities, and participate in research studies.

Applications will be reviewed by the Long COVID PBRN executive members on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified of acceptance via clinic point of contact email.

Application Requirements

The application requires the following information:

1. Description of the institutional context and specific local multidisciplinary leadership team who organize and run the clinic.
2. Description of the model you are utilizing/will use for Long COVID care within your clinic.
