Durham, NC

Dr. Blalock is a Research Clinical Psychologist with Durham VA Health Services Research & Development (ADAPT), and Assistant Consulting Professor at Duke University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His research has focused broadly on the intersection between mental and physical health, as well as measurement issues that face the assessment of both mental and physical health issues. This research has involved work on social determinants of health, substance use, medication adherence, and additional health behaviors. As a CDA awardee, Dr. Blalock is focusing on developing a telehealth intervention for joint issues of alcohol misuse and elevated cardiovascular disease risk in Veterans.
