Her 2023-2028 HSR&D Career Development Award investigates qualitatively and quantitatively the extent to which family caregivers, home care workers, and VA clinical teams contribute to the prevention of adverse events for older adults with dementia in the home and pilots an in-home intervention to assist family caregivers and home care workers to detect and manage safety risks to older adults with dementia.
