Yuvaram Reddy, MBBS, MPH, is a nephrologist and implementation scientist dedicated to narrowing disparities in home dialysis use for patients with kidney failure and addressing health inequities in kidney disease. He is a Core Investigator at the VA Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) and a staff physician at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia.
His research draws from methodologies in health services research and implementation science. His research focuses on a) understanding barriers to home dialysis, b) developing implementation strategies to address disparities in home dialysis use, and c) evaluating the impact of health policy in kidney disease. He is a recipient of a Health Systems Research (HSR) VA Career Development award, focused on understanding barriers to home dialysis and improving equitable access to home dialysis. His work in home dialysis has been funded by the VA, NIH, AHRQ, PCORI, the Leonard Davis Institute, and the American Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Reddy received his MBBS degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute and his MPH degree from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center and Nephrology fellowship at Mass General Brigham.
