Jonathan Yahalom, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and health systems researcher at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, where he is an investigator at the Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation & Policy. He is also a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Yahalom completed his doctorate at Duquesne University, his clinical internship at Sharp HealthCare, and postdoctoral fellowship at West Los Angeles VA.

Dr. Yahalom's research focuses on improving care for Veteran men with histories of military sexual trauma. His HSR Career Development Award, "Recovery-Oriented Group Therapy for Veteran Men with Military Sexual Trauma," will develop and pilot test a gender-tailored group therapy approach to improve access and quality of care for this Veteran population.
