Alex Sox-Harris, PhD, MS, is a Research Career Scientist at the Center for Innovation to Implementation (Ci2i) at VA Palo Alto, and an Associate Professor at the S-SPIRE Center in the Stanford Department of Surgery. As a health services researcher with programs of research focused on quality measurement, predictive modeling, and implementation/de-implementation science, Dr. Sox-Harris is committed to conducting research that directly informs healthcare policy, delivery, and outcomes. He has published over 225 scientific papers and has had continuous federal research funding for over 15 years. His work has received national recognition including being the inaugural recipient of the VA HSR&D System Impact Award for a program of research that has "a direct and important impact on clinical practice or clinical policy in the VA Healthcare System."
