Description: Despite overall improvements in VA reproductive health services, gaps remain in delivery and quality of family planning services, which include reproductive goals assessment, contraceptive care and preconception care. Dr. Callegari will discuss her CDA work of developing and testing a novel, patient-facing, web-based decision support tool (“MyPath”) which is designed to improve VA family planning services in primary care through empowering women to communicate effectively with their providers and to make informed decisions about pregnancy timing and contraception.
