DaVINCI: Military Health Systems (MHS) Part 2 “The Data"

Description: The purpose of this presentation is to familiarize VA researchers and operational staff with the types of systems that the Military Health System operates or uses, and the research data that comes from those systems. The presentation will focus on operational systems such as CHCS and MHS Genesis, and will also discuss extracts that come from the operational systems. Strengths and weaknesses of data will also be stressed. Intended audience: Researchers, operational managers and other users of VINCI who expect to or are already working on projects with the MHS and VA dual eligible population. Potential users of DaVINCI are strongly encouraged to attend.
