Description: This seminar will provide an update of VHA Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) treatment among vulnerable patients with advanced liver disease. Presenters will discuss 1) the difference between equity and equality; 2) trends in HCV treatment among vulnerable populations; and 3) how applying an equity lens to the treatment cascade of care can promote insights into appropriate engagement and outreach strategies necessary to treat the sickest patients with HCV. Target audience: Researchers, clinicians, care coordinators, stakeholders and representatives of vulnerable Veteran groups who are interested in understanding and/or promoting equitable health among all Veterans.
