Description: This Cyberseminar is the final session of a five part series presenting the results from the Women's Health Initiative.
This Cyberseminar will address the following:
1) Military Generation and its Relationship to Mortality in Women Veterans in the Women's Health Initiative: How have changes over time in women’s military roles, exposures, and associated health outcome altered mortality risk?
2) Alcohol and All-cause Mortality Among Women Veterans and Non-Veterans Enrolled in the Women’s Health Initiative: Did alcohol consumption amounts differ between women Veterans and non-Veterans, did it result in differences in all-cause mortality, and did Veteran status modify the association between alcohol consumption and all-cause mortality?
3) Mortality in Postmenopausal Women by Sexual Orientation and Veteran Status: Are there differences in all-cause and cause-specific mortality by sexual orientation and Veteran status in older women in the WHI?
This Cyberseminar series is intended for researchers, clinicians and others interested in the health of older women.
