Using Stata Tools to Access CDW

Description: Dr. Lowy describes a set of Stata tools he created to help users write and debug queries in CDW. These tools make it easier for users to run crosstabs, create descriptive statistics tables, and perform other data use functions. Documentation for these tools is available on the VA Pulse website: https://www.vapulse.net/groups/statabits Dr. Lowy will demonstrate user-written commands for accessing CDW through Stata. Attendees should leave with a good understanding of what can be accomplished with these tools and how to use them. Intended audience: Researchers and others interested in improved Stata commands for accessing CDW.
