Strategies for the Development of Mentoring Plans for CDA Applicants

Description: This session is the third in a six part series and will focus on identification of mentor(s) and the development of a mentoring plan for VA HSR&D CDA applications. Examples of mentorship teams will be discussed, in addition to addressing frequently asked questions (e.g., can you have too many or too few mentors, are distance mentors allowed, how do I distinguish myself from my mentor(s), etc.). Intended audience: Prospective VA HSR&D Career Development Award applicants and their mentors, Center investigators/faculty involved in helping prepare junior investigators for successful completion of CDA applications.
