Description: This presentation will introduce operations staff, clinicians, and researchers to using the Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) Microbiology and pharmacy-related domains to address epidemiologic and health services research outcomes questions. We will summarize our experience with specific data elements from these domains and explain how to combine and relate microbiology and pharmacy records. We will also discuss how these data sources can be used to answer research questions by providing examples from our research and describing limitations to the uses of these data. Objectives 1. Provide an overview of the CDW Microbiology 2.0 and pharmacy-related domains 2. Provide examples of how specific data elements can be used for research questions 3. Describe limitations of these data
