Magnetoencephalography as a Potential Imaging Marker for Mild TBI and PTSD
Mingxiong Huang, PhD
Seminar date: 2/8/2017
Description: The presentation will focus on using magnetoencephalography (MEG) source imaging techniques to provide single-subject based diagnoses for mild traumatic brain injury (TBI), including combat related mild TBI. MEG research applications in revealing abnormalities in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) neurocircuitry will also be presented. In addition, studies that examine the associations between MEG source imaging and clinical symptoms and/or cognitive impairments in veterans with mild TBI and/or PTSD will be presented as well.
The intended audience will be researchers and clinicians who are interested in mild TBI and PTSD.
