Description: This presentation will trace the path of an HSR&D funded project from an original idea through subsequent team-building, funding, clinical impact, and dissemination. We will emphasize the factors that contributed to project success and ultimate clinical impact. Our project illustrates the use of audit & feedback and behavioral economics to implement an effective antibiotic stewardship program for urinary tract infections. The intended audience is HSR&D investigators. This presentation is designed for investigators of all types, particularly those who might be interested in hearing about how we built the team, designed an impactful project, and overcame challenges.
