Description: Introduction to recent changes in the OMOP common data model, orientation to available QA reports and some basic SQL scripts that are available to OMOP users. Dr. Deppen orients interested users to recent row tracing reporting that examines various parts of the transformation process from CDW source to OMOP common data model. If time allows we review some curated scripts of the most common steps taken to begin making and understanding your cohort of Veterans. This cyberseminar assumes basic familiarity with CDW data, the OMOP common data model and will be most helpful to those with minimal SQL programming skills, though no active programming will occur during this lecture style presentation. All documents discussed will be available on the VA pulse OMOP group site.
