Description: Chronic Multisymptom Illness (CMI) impacts 30% of Veterans after deployment and is one of the most prevalent, costly, disabling, and least understood post-deployment health conditions. The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) has written 11 volumes on the impact of CMI for Veterans, strongly urging the VA to improve care for these Veterans.
