Description: The purpose of this Cyberseminar is to introduce the concept of Relational Coordination, to learn how it drives Veteran and employee outcomes, how organizations shape it, and how change agents can diagnose the current state, identify desired state and move your unit and organization in that direction. You will be introduced to four tools to help on that journey: 1) Relational Mapping 2) the Relational Coordination Survey 3) the Organizational Structures Assessment Tool and 4) the Relational Model of Organizational Change. Pilot funds from HSR&D are supporting initial work into the role of Relational Coordination in the VA. The session will conclude with a review of past, current, and planned research investigating how Relational Coordination impacts employee, Veteran, and organizational outcomes.
