Description: Dr. Kharrazi will discuss the results of a collaborative project to develop a VHA data framework for population health analytics. He will present the proposed population health framework, and provide a case study on using various data sources to evaluate the prevalence and geographic distribution of obesity among VHA patients from 2000 to 2015. Intended Audience: population health managers, clinicians with interest in obesity and other chronic conditions, disease preventative and health promotion experts, epidemiologists, big data managers and analysts.
