Description: The Modeling to Learn program helps clinic teams find the best local improvements to meet Veterans' needs faster. This course will focus on the suicide prevention module of Modeling to Learn. The first session introduces the Modeling to Learn program. Session 1 Learning Objectives 1. Describe the advantages of teams testing their own hypotheses about improvement plans using local team data; 2.Compare the advantages of team simulation learning against to trial-and-error learning in the real-world; 3. Identify ways systems thinking helps teams evaluate both the risks and benefits of clinic changes over time. Intended audience: clinicians and researchers interested in advancements for addressing suicide prevention and mental health in Veterans.
