Description: Abstract: Multiple treatment options are common in clinical practice but little guidance exists to inform choices of how to use propensity scores in analyses of their effects. This session will outline best practices for using propensity scores to compare the effects of multiple treatments and introduce a recently developed method that produces estimates with low bias and high efficiency and that is straightforward to implement. Target Audience: Individuals interested in using propensity scores or reviewing grant proposals or papers in which propensity score methods are being employed.
