The Educational Mission in Interprofessional Pain Care

Description: The ongoing clinical and legislative focus on effective treatment of chronic pain and opioid use disorder have required clinical training programs to develop trainee competencies in interprofessional collaboration and clinical best practices. This seminar will highlight two interprofessional VA pain clinics and their embedded educational training programs which seek to develop learners’ competencies in these areas while delivering care that is evidence-based, collaborative, and consistent with legislative and VA mandates.
