Description: Brief behavioral interventions for anxiety are needed to address a major treatment gap in primary care. In this presentation, Dr. Shepardson will describe her CDA2 research to develop, refine, and evaluate a modular, cognitive-behavioral anxiety intervention designed specifically for use with Veterans in VA Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) settings. We will share mixed methods data on feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of the anxiety intervention.
