Cervical Cancer Screening in VA: Unique individual and health system challenges

Description: A cyberseminar reviewing the latest research in cervical cancer prevention in VA. Dr. Elisheva Danan will summarize the current standards for screening, new evidence to support HPV vaccination, and existing data about risk factors for cervical cancer among women Veterans. She will then present findings from her ongoing research evaluating patient and health system factors that may impact cervical cancer screening for women Veterans. Dr. Sally Haskell will provide an overview of VA’s current efforts to prevent cervical cancer.
