Risk Factors for Homelessness among Women Veterans – Implications for Prevention and Services

Description: Veterans comprise a disproportionate fraction of the nation’s homeless population, with women Veterans much more likely to become homeless than non-veteran women. This session will describe pathways to homelessness among women Veterans, including how risk factors interplay and accumulate over the life course to result in homelessness. Implications of these pathways for prevention and treatment will also be discussed.
