Description: Proactive integrated use of virtual healthcare resources (VHR) by healthcare team members can improve workflow, support coordinated delivery of high-quality care, and improve outcomes. VHR superusers are defined as clinical team members who believe that a clinical information system is beneficial to delivering care and important in performing work tasks; and they are willing to share the functionality that they have learned with others. This presentation will describe findings from a mixed-methods Human Centered Design project to promote VHR superuser best practices for select specialty services (i.e., Cardiology, Whole Health, Spinal Cord Injury, Rehabilitation, Education) to inform the spread and uptake across the broader population of specialty care.
Intended Audience: This presentation is intended for VA researchers, clinicians, and administrators interested in virtual care.
