Unpacking MST Survivors’ Emotional Experiences with Accessing Community Care for Mental Health Concerns

Description: In this Cyberseminar, Dr. Boykin will present early results from her career development award project, which broadly focuses on identifying ways to bridge gaps in health care access for Veterans with military sexual trauma (MST) through MISSION Act’s community care program. This work-in-progress presentation will invite discussion of qualitative findings from Veterans with MST about their recent experiences accessing mental health services through community care.

Intended audience: Health services researchers, VA clinicians and trainees, VA leaders, and anyone else interested in community care and/or care for survivors of MST
