Description: In this presentation we will describe the impacts of blast exposure and/or mild traumatic brain injury on the auditory system, discuss implications and issues for diagnosis and treatment of related auditory and auditory-related disorders, and discuss some possible options for rehabilitation of these deficits. Data from a multi-site study comparing two rehabilitative interventions will be presented along with. Clinical recommendations based on current research will be presented and discussed. This presentation will be appropriate for clinicians and scientists with an interest in the impacts of blast exposure and mTBI.
