Women Veterans’ Healthcare Provider Workforce Experiences

Description: This seminar will review findings from two studies that address employee engagement, well-being, and burnout among multiple VA clinicians and non-clinicians in Primary Care and Mental Health. One examines gender differences in Mental Health Provider employee experiences using mixed methods (quantitative data and interviews). The second uses stay interviews to examine WH-PACT members’ work experiences, including challenges and facilitators to retention in role (physicians, nurses, medical support assistants).
