Description: This presentation will discuss the management of persistent postconcussive symptoms in Veterans and service members who have experienced blast concussions during combat deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. It will focus on pharmacologic approaches to treating chronic, often migraine-like, headaches, and on sleep disruption. It will also address the relationship of mTBI(s) to chronic traumatic encephalopathy. This presentation is appropriate for the full range of persons involved in the diagnosis and management of blast concussion mTBI
