Description: The Evidence-based Synthesis Program Center supported a systematic review of shared decision making interventions to facilitate breast, colorectal, and prostate cancer screening. Twenty-three randomized controlled trials were identified for inclusion in the review. We will present a narrative synthesis of the findings.
Target audience: Clinicians who engage with their patients on cancer screening decisions and health services researchers interested in studying the process and outcomes of shared decision making.
